The Blendtec Classic 575 and Total Blender here are also under the same “Classic” series. One is more or less a watered-down version of the other. So, you’ll notice a lot of similarities between the two too.

Fans Favorite

The Blendtec Total Blender is the favorite choice of a lot of people. But that shouldn’t be surprising, considering it’s the flagship model and cornerstone of all the other high-power blenders from the brand.

If you can remember, the Total Blender Classic was the first to appear on the famous “Will it Blend it?” marketing campaign. And in the infomercials, we could see the machine pulverizing everything tossed into the jar, including iPhones, marbles, and other tough materials.

The Blendtec Classic 575 takes the point here. At the time of writing, it has a price tag of $299, which is about eight bucks cheaper than the Total Blender (currently on promotion).

Keep in mind, these prices are when the two blenders come with the standard Fourside blending jar. If you wish to get either on the WildSide+ pitcher, you’ll top up at least $74 on the Blendtec Classic 575 or $30 on the Total Blender.

Blendtec, similar to Vitamix, usually designs and assembles most of their blenders here in the country. The blenders also incorporate high-quality components and parts, starting with a motor that consists of not just sturdy carbon steel. Well, you can see the Blendtec Classic 575 and Total Blender have so much in common, as I’ve said earlier. The main difference between the two comes down to the budget you’re willing to spend or what you’d want to achieve in your kitchen. And the latter, in my opinion, is the best.

So, the Blendtec Total Blender is still my recommendation if you won’t mind the extra bucks on the cost. But as you go for it, do know you might have to purchase the single-serve GO blending cup separately. Then, the main jar doesn’t come with a tamper, which might make it hard for you to prepare thick blends like butter.
